The Bugatti Brouillard is a one-of-one, coachbuilt hypercar — the first from Bugatti’s ultra-exclusive Programme Solitaire, a new series producing at most two unique creations per year. It debuted during Monterey Car Week and was commissioned by Dutch businessman and Bugatti collector Michael Perridon.

Exterior

  • Design language: Inspired by Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse, “Brouillard.” Surfaces are smooth and muscular rather than angular.

  • Front & profile: Chiron-inspired curves, C-shaped lighting, and a central aluminium spine running over the roof.

  • Roof & air intakes: Roof-mounted matte black intakes stamped “W16.”

  • Rear & aero: Ducktail spoiler, X-shaped taillights, big diffuser, and a unique stacked exhaust layout (two pairs stacked + hidden pipes) for better aerodynamics and cooling.

  • Color: A deep green pearlescent finish linked to the owner’s art and bronze sculpture collection.

Interior

  • Theme: Horse imagery everywhere — embroidered galloping horses on the doors, overlapping horse heads on seats, and a miniature sculpture inside the glass gear selector.

  • Materials: Pistachio-green leather, custom Paris-woven tartan, green carbon fiber, and machined aluminium.

  • Layout: Custom seats, panoramic glass roof, and Bugatti’s signature illuminated C-shaped cabin divider.

Engine & Performance

  • Powertrain: 8.0-litre, quad-turbo W16 producing ~1,600 PS (≈1,578 hp) and ~1,180 lb-ft torque.

  • Drivetrain: 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, all-wheel drive.

  • Performance: Exact figures not published, but expected to match or surpass Chiron and Mistral W16 performance. Bodywork is engineered for extreme thermal and aerodynamic efficiency.

Chassis & Special Details

  • Platform: Evolves from the Chiron/Mistral/Bolide architecture — the ultimate W16 expression before Bugatti transitions to hybrid V16 models.

  • Aero & cooling: Exhaust and diffuser packaging unique to the Brouillard, designed to optimize downforce and heat management.

  • Exclusivity: 1 of 1 — never to be repeated. Price unconfirmed, but industry estimates suggest $15–20 million+.

Why it matters

The Bugatti Brouillard isn’t just a hypercar — it’s a farewell to the legendary W16 era, wrapped in a rolling piece of art. It combines history, performance, and extreme personalization into something only one person in the world will ever own.
